Emmalee Loves Adam

Emmalee & Adam Invite You To Their Big Day 9.29.12

A Love Story

Emmalee Anne Cason

The Bride

When I first met Adam, I knew instantly that in some way, we would always be connected. He immediately came off as a smart, caring and kind type of person, always striving to reach the next goal in his life. I knew that he was someone I could always feel comfortable with, someone in which I would grow to love. Our bond was strong from the beginning and being together always felt so natural. The most important part of our relationship was how we became best friends and now grown to be in love. Adam is truly a wonderful friend to all he is acquainted and always brings life to any situation. One of his greatest attributes is his thirst for success and passion for life, a life in which I am lucky enough to share with him. I have learned so much from him over the years we have spent together, but I know the greatest knowledge is yet to come. There is no one else that can make me laugh as hard and love even harder than him. He is what I have always wanted in a husband and cannot wait for the memories we will create as one. I am absolutely, one-hundred percent, in love.

Adam Russell Davis

The Groom

Emmalee and I came across each other one night in downtown Gainesville, FL. Both of us were up to no good, but it didn’t quite turn out that way. After I had just convinced myself that I wanted no part in any kind of serious relationship, Emmalee batted her thick eyelashes and stared at me with the most beautiful green eyes I had ever seen. I took her to Carrabba's for our first date. I give credit to my Grandfather who raised me with impeccable manners, but to my surprise, Emmalee beat me in putting her napkin in her lap. That’s all it took for me to realize I was on to something. Emmalee was 18, and I was 20 when we both fell in love. Six years later, Emmalee and I have become best friends; I adore her. After I graduated from College, My Grandfather offered to take us to Chicago as a graduation present. I proposed to Emmalee next to an amazing view of the city from our room at The Drake Hotel; she said yes. It's true that love is filled with the good, the bad, and the ugly. Together, Emmalee and I conquered love. I've felt love; I feel love; we are love. I am ready to become one with my love.

Maid of Honor & Sister

When it came time to choose a Maid of Honor, my choice was quite simple. Having my little sister stand beside me as I start a new journey in my life is the greatest honor anyone could give me. Even though we are 10 years apart in age, we have maintained such a close relationship through the years. I can remember, like it was just yesterday, my dad telling me that I was going to be a big sister. There isn’t anyone who can replace a sister and having her as mine is truly a blessing. She is such an incredible, outgoing young lady and I know she will grow into an amazingly, beautiful woman. I love you sissy and thank you for all the happiness you have brought to my life.

Shannon Richards

Best Friend & Penguin

There is something so extraordinary about finding someone that you feel you can share everything with and I have found that in Shannon. From the first night that we spent hanging out together, dancing to the beat of our own drum, I knew that we were meant to be best friends. There are only so many people who dare to be as crazy and daring as you and I know I can always count on her. We have been through good times and great times, have shared so many memories together and I know the best are yet to come. I love you my penguin.

Amanda Koon

Best Friend & Boo

It isn’t everyday when your best friend becomes a part of your family, but I have been lucky enough to experience that. I will never forget the first day we started working together, it was as if we were meant to share a cubicle. From the late nights that turned into early mornings and through all the shared memories, we have managed to become closer than I could have ever imagined. Amanda has always been someone that I can trust with all of my heart and can talk to, on every aspect of my life, which I am extremely grateful for. I love you boo.

Corey Wilson

Best Friend

There is no other way I would have it than to not have Corey stand by me as I embark on this new journey in my life. From the first day of kindergarten to our college graduations, we have managed to form such an amazing friendship. There is never a dull moment if we are together. Laughter is the absolute core of our relationship and I know that will only grow stronger. He has inspired me throughout my whole life. He has taught me so much as a friend and I am very proud to have him by my side for this special day. I love you Dr. Corey Wilson.

Caitlyn Wilson

Best Friend

For as long as I have known Caitlyn, she has always been a true friend to me. Even though she is younger, I look up to her in so many ways. She is one of the smartest and most talented women I have ever met and feel honored to call her my best friend. We share a bond that I know will never be broken. She has been so supportive and helpful throughout this wonderful time and could not imagine not having her in my life. She has such a caring heart and I am so thankful to have her as a bridesmaid. I love you Cait.

Groomsmen

Erik Curran

Best Man

Erik and I started hanging out when I moved to Fort White, FL in the 7th grade. Yea, I was the awkward new kid from up north. Erik and I became friends by cracking dry jokes and skateboarding. We remained good friends through high school and college. We've both done some stupid (and fun) stuff together, that's for sure. It's pretty cool that we can still chuckle about stuff we did when we were 15. This whole marriage thing got me thinking about what a best man should be. A best man is not only your best friend, but the man you can trust and lean on in any time of need. I trust Erik to be there for not only me, but for my future wife and family. I'm thankful to have my best friend stand beside me for this special moment in my life.

Eric Davis

Brother

My older brother and I were close growing up. Since our parents divorced at a young age, we stuck together through tough times. From fist fights with kids after school, to playing football for the Laurel Wildcats, we hung in there. We fought here and there, but for the most part, Eric looked after his younger brother just as expected. We were called the "world travelers" by my Grandfather, since we started traveling at a young age. Summers alternated between Maryland and Florida, Christmas and other holidays. It was awkward; we made due with what we had. As priorities shift throughout life, we aren't as close as we used to be, but I know things will only become better as time passes. I wouldn't trade my brother for anyone else in this world and I'm honored to have him stand beside me.

Chuck Baldwin

Best Friend

Chuck and I became buds when I joined city league baseball at Fort White. Seems like our team lost more than we won, but we didn't care, it was fun. We had something in common - infielders. We stayed friends throughout high school. Chuck's always been a good friend. We've had some wild times, going out on the town, pulling pranks on each other (one time I stuffed cheese in his wallet and he didn't find it until he tried to pay for something at the grocery store - classic!), grilling some food and hanging out by a fire in the country. Good times! Chuck has always looked out for his buddies, and his buddies will look out for him. I'm truly grateful to have Chuck as one of my best friends and I'm glad he's standing beside me.
